East Hartford consulting firm Goman + York is making
recommendations to the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) for the rundown property in Hartford’s South Meadows. Improvements could see an expansion of the existing farmer’s market to include food trucks, an entertainment stage, makerspace for food entrepreneurs, community gardens and additional public gathering space, making the market a potential tourist attraction pulling visitors from much of the state as well as southern Massachusetts.
