During our popular Spotlight on Main Street networking events, a host CMSC community shares what makes their downtown unique, including how they addressed local obstacles and achieved success through collaboration, economic, and community development. Held twice a year in the spring and fall, they treat attendees to an insider’s view of the downtown, offering an overview presentation from local officials, a guided walking tour, and a brief reception at a local establishment.
Our Summits feature local expertise, case studies and engaging dialogues for a half-day of inspired learning and information-sharing.
During these events, CMSC gathers together experts and innovators to discuss important Main Street issues. Audiences learn best practices, explore new trends and ideas, and network with peers.
Our annual State of Main event is Connecticut’s premier gathering of Main Street stakeholders dedicated to the vitality of our downtowns. This event examines the trends, challenges and opportunities facing our Main Streets.
