Mark Reed and Patrick Normoyle are the new team working to revitalize the Jayson-Newfield buildings at Golden Hill and Main Streets Bridgeport. “I’ve done many gut rehabs of old buildings, some historic, some not so historic, I think everything downtown Bridgeport has going on right now is very promising.” said Normoyle of the project.
Development on the block is moving forward with 8000 square feet of commercial space and 104 apartments, 30 percent of which will be considered affordable. In the commercial space the duo is looking for a restaurant or a small fitness center. “We want the retail use to be something that can be an amenity to the entire Downtown North,” said Normoyle.
