“Middletown has launched a program to loan $250,000 to the city’s small businesses that are struggling to recover from prolonged coronavirus related closures. The loans will be capped at $10,000 per business and can be used to pay for start-up expenses, investments in new technology or costs associated with transitioning to a different business model. They will be distributed to businesses with 20 or fewer employees who operate in the city.” — Hartford Courant
