A new business is growing in Hartford, and its mission is to give culinary entrepreneurs space to grow their own businesses. Thyme Share, is a fully functional rental kitchen space, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for small business and personal use starting at $49 per hour. There is a sauté kitchen, bakery kitchen, teaching kitchen and event space, all at 485 Main Street Hartford.
CEO and co-founder, Bruce Hoffman, and Chef Jay Lewis, director of culinary and community relations, say Thyme Share is also about learning. Their staff will teach food safety, knife skills, and money management skills to potential restaurateurs and plan to start community cooking classes soon.
