Young Energetic Solutions (YES) hosted Governor Dan Malloy on October 16 for a lively discussion with young professionals in their 20s and 30s on how Connecticut can best grow its population of younger adults. The conversation covered a broad range of issues, including housing, public education, crime/safety, jobs, support for entrepreneurs, development financing from banks, and how to convert poorly utilized downtown property into productive use. For over an hour the Governor fielded questions and offered insights on state policy.
YES was formed by the Partnership for Strong Communities as a vehicle for young people to help foster communities in which they and their peers want to live, work and play. For more information, click here.
