Join The Connecticut Chapter of the American society of Landscape Architects, in conjunction with the National Association of Olmsted Parks, to tour several parks in Greater Hartford to explore the Olmsted firm’s legacy here. Parks officials, historians, and Olmsted advocates from across the country will help us explore the origin of these sites, why people still enjoy them today, and how we can work to preserve and adapt these historic landscapes in the context of modern times.

Old North Cemetery (Olmsted family burial site)

Bushnell Park / Hartford Capitol Grounds
Pope Park
Walnut Hill Park
