Growing numbers of people want to live in vibrant downtowns filled with choices in housing and transportation, where a welcoming pedestrian environment teems with a mix of shops and services.   The first step is engaging the community in a visioning and planning process that builds consensus for the future of downtown.  The next step is to develop the tools and resources that attract the right development and allow the vision to become reality.
