CMSC presented a free workshop in late May to inform town officials and brownfield owners and developers about new opportunities. Some of the changes that were addressed include:

  • Legislation that reduces liability for towns and cities working to rehabilitate and market their brownfield properties.
  • New streamlined regulatory approval processes.
  • Newly funded grant and loan programs to assist communities.
  • Technical assistance available from State brownfield experts.
  • and much more!
