Let our experts show you how to reinvigorate your community.
CMSC offers a suite of educational and networking events throughout the year, collectively know as our Main Street Forums for the 21st Century. Our Main Street Forums represent the evolution of our highly successful education and training component, the Downtown Revitalization Institute (DRI), launched in 2005. CMSC’s Main Street Forums for the 21st Century encompass the following learning and networking opportunities:
- Webinar Wednesday! – CMSC’s webinar series covers a variety of topics, mainly targeted to CMSC members, although they are offered to the general public at no cost. The recordings are then posted on the CMSC website, expanding their reach.
- BRIDGE Series –BRIDGE stands for Brief, Relevant, In-Depth, Guided Education. These are combination networking/informational events open to Main Street member communities and Professional Affiliates. They are held 2-3 times per year at CMSC’s offices, and offer the chance for peer learning and networking while delving more deeply into a specific Main Street topic.
- CMSC and CEDAS/CCAPA Networking Events – (in partnership with CEDAS and the CT Chapter of the American Planning Association (CCAPA)These are hosted in a CMSC member community and offer a panel presentation from local officials, a walking tour of the downtown and an informal networking opportunity.
All of our webinars and past DRI workshop materials are available at any time under our Workshop Archives.
