With a service area of 42 towns, the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut is geographically the largest in the state. For 33 years the Community Foundation has awarded more than $38 million to local nonprofit agencies and student scholarship recipients. Charitable individuals, families and organizations have given more than $77 million and set up 457 individual funds. The Foundation’s assets stand over the $67 million mark.
