redevelopment of 28 High Street, most recently known as the Lewtan building. The project, which started through CT Main Street Center’s Come Home to Downtown program, will convert the building into 28 apartments with retail on the street level.

With financing coming from the Capital Region Development Authority, state historic tax credits, a United Bank mortgage, the non-profit Local Initiatives Support Corporation, and Constantinou himself, the apartments should be available by the end of next year.
