The State of Connecticut has launched TransformCT, a strategic planning approach to transportation policies, programs, and projects.  TransformCT is an online forum which invites public input into how Connecticut can create better places with big ideas and small changes.   The crowd-sourcing site encourages public participation by allowing users to add their ideas for improvement, as well as comment and vote on ideas proposed by others.  Local photos showcasing what residents like about the State can also be uploaded.

Although input is being gathered on www.transformct.org through Friday, July 19, the strategic planning process will continue for the next 18 months through a series of public meetings, focus groups, and surveys. DOT will engage businesses, elected officials, transportation advocacy groups, and other organizations and agencies as part of the Transform CT planning effort.
