Secretary of State Denise Merrill’s office and the Connecticut Data Collaborative have expanded a database of Connecticut business.  The changes will greatly increase the functionality of the database to better serve businesses of all types as well as economic development specialists and consumers.  The new database includes information on the formation of more than 350,000 businesses.  Improved search functionality allows for more meaningful research into business formation, trends and other details that were previously lost in vast quantity of data.
