Pre-applications are now being received for a new program that will fill vacant storefronts in downtown Hartford with artists’s studios and pop-up retail stores, reports the Hartford Courant.  The iConnect project is being funded through a $100,000 grant from the State’s Arts Catalyze Placemaking program which aims to bring more people to cities through arts and cultural activities.
