CMSC recently held a workshop on Creating Transit Villages in Connecticut, sponsored by the CT Department of Transportation.   Attendees participated at the invitation of  ConnDOT Commissioner James Redeker and discussed the various roles needed to bring transit villages to life in Connecticut, how these roles will be assigned and how they will inter-relate.   Additionally, speakers from Massachusetts and New Jersey offered examples of successes and lessons learned while implementing transit oriented development in their respective states.
