CMSC Board Member Toni Gold, President of Urban Edge Associates, joined John Dankosky on WNPR’s Where We Live today to talk about how we are shaped by our surroundings.  Toni Gold described this process – often known as  “placemaking” – to be when the community grabs hold of its place and defines it.  Other guests talked about how art can help bridge the gap between what is and what could be in places like Hartford and progress of CreateHereNow, a place-making initiative happening in 20 communities around Connecticut.
