Collinsville’s future was the topic of discussion Wednesday as local officials outlined the town’s participation in the Connecticut Main Street program, according to the Hartford Courant.  Town leaders are looking at ways they can keep the resurgence Collinsville has seen  in recent years  moving forward, including by rejoining the Connecticut Main Street program, the state affiliate of the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Main Street program which has helped with local revitalization efforts across the country. Kimberley Parsons-Whitaker, CMSC Associate Director, said incorporating Collinsville’s past will be a key part of moving forward.
