Tax Increment Financing was discussed at a meeting in Canton on September 29th, as a possible source of financing a redevelopment of the old Collins Co. factory complex in Collinsville.  The report presented at the meeting, by consultant Jim Damicis, estimates Tax Increment Financing could raise as much as $6.6 million to fund a development that would include a mix of homes, stores, restaurants, offices and a hotel.
